This is consistent with Government recommendations, and is one of our mitigation measures helping to reduce the risk to our customers and crew.
Sorry but we are unable to make any exceptions. The wellbeing of our customers and crew is our priority, so please remember why we're doing this and do not turn up if you don't have a pass.
Taken from the NHS website, you need one of the following:

We recommend that you prepare for this now, or in good time, long before you arrive. Please have your pass ready to be viewed on arrival - thank you.
Remember that we reserve the right to refuse admission or ask you to leave.
We all need to do our bit. Please wash your hands after each trip to the loo (obviously!), and regularly use the provided hand sanitisers throughout the session.
Q: Do I need to wear a mask?
A: It's no longer mandatory, so you don't have to, but you may if you wish. We recommend masks on arrival or trips to the loo etc but do not expect this. Dancing is a form of physical exercise so be aware that mask-wearing may affect your breathing.
Q: Can I stay with my fixed partner or group of friends?
A: Yes, if you wish, until we're back to 'normal'. Others may choose to follow our usual format of rotating partners.
Q: Do I need to book?
A: No. We keep numbers to sensible levels in our venues but we rarely need to turn anyone away.
Q: Will there be hand sanitiser?
A: Yes. You may also wish to bring your own. We strongly recommend frequent hand sanitising or washing throughout the session.
We are so excited to be able return to the dance floor after such a long time. We will do what we can to ensure our events are as safe and accessible as they can be for our customers and crew. However, there is now an unavoidable element of risk when it comes to attending a dance night, much like other social engagements where humans are in close proximity, like a pub, nightclub or restaurant. We will follow Government guidance to help minimise this risk. The wellbeing of our customers and crew is at the forefront of all our decisions.
The choice is yours. Step 4 of the roadmap includes enabling the public to make informed decisions through guidance, rather than laws. Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19) is available.
As individuals we all have different personal circumstances and therefore different views about returning to normal. Some of us will want to return immediately, while some may wish to wait a bit longer. Some will be raring to go, others will be more anxious. Some will prefer to dance only with friends, some will want to rotate partners. Some may wish to wear masks (this is a personal choice and no longer mandatory), others may not since dance is a physical exercise. Please be understanding of other peoples choices. Please be polite.
I would also like to add a personal thank you to Russell Payne for kindly allowing me to copy his homework and saving much time reinventing the wheel, thank you buddy, Nelson.
